Movement Artisans Summer Residency in Sweden
10 days immersion into Contact Improvisation and Axis Syllabus by the Baltic Sea.

After a wonderful and truly luminous experience last year we are looking forward to go back to Sweden!
The residency will take place in a nature-embedded environment at the Baltic Sea, in a 150 years old community college, 2 hours from Stockholm. 10 days of Contact Improvisation and Axis Syllabus with Kira Kirsch, Antoine Ragot and their special collaborator Katja Mustonen, stewarding the journey. It has been such a pleasure last year to weave the musings of Katja into our Movement Artisans program in Berlin and to embark on our first residential journey last summer we are exited to continue sharing and deepening this collaboration.
We welcome you to 10 days of daily classes, laboratories, open space, jams, conference, sauna, fireplace and walks in nature. As a team of passionate dance researchers and contact improvisation practitioners, we are dedicated to weave together our individual strengths and qualities to provide an inspiring, supportive and inclusive environment for discovery, growth, connection, and lots of dancing together.

LOCATION
The college is located in an environment of forests right next to sea canals accessible for swimming and not far from the beach (5 km) with affordable bikes for rent.

A beautiful lunch-buffet with coffee and tea will be offered everyday onsite at Vischan Cafe, it is included in the price of the residency: https://www.facebook.com/restaurangvischan
Food store, restaurant, cafe, fresh market produce are all within walking distance.
You take care of your breakfast and dinner at your cottage or in the community space.
ACCOMMODATION
Nice little cottages with 4 bedrooms each. Each cottage has a common living room with a small kitchen for the preparation of your breakfast and dinner.

Single room €40/night
Arriving in the cottage before Friday 21st or leaving after the 29th to enjoy the area is a possibility! Just let us know ahead of time
